It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of John, who served the Parish as a Centenier.

Our thoughts are with John’s family.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 13 April, 2025, aged 78 years, with his loving family by his side, much-loved husband to Janie, father to Lindy and Paul, father-in-law to Sue and Nigel, and adored Papa to Tiani.

The family wish to express their deepest gratitude to Family Nursing, Jersey Hospice and Dr Foley for all their care.

It is with much sadness that the family announce the death of Carol, age 86, on Monday, 7 April, 2025, in the loving care of Cheval Roc Nursing Home. She was the most wonderful, loving and inspirational wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the celebration service for Carol’s life are warmly invited to meet in St Patrick’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, 29 April, at 11am, followed by a private cremation.

Aged 59, passed away on Sunday, 30 March, 2025, in Goa, a place he loved, in the company of friends he loved, after an illness bravely fought.

Widow of the late Rev John Spruyt (Jersey), sadly passed away in Gloucestershire on Thursday, 1 April, 2025, aged 99 years.

Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, 14 March, 2025, aged 97 years. Hugely missed by daughter Janet and son-in-law Colin, grandfather of Andrew and Natalie, Billy and Dawn, and great-grandfather of Ella, Layla, Annabelle, Sienna and Ava.
