CAIRNS, Nicky (née Bertram)

Passed away peacefully, on Saturday, 12 July, 2025, in the loving care of Jersey Hospice, aged 60 years, much-loved wife of Grahame, adored Mum to Emma and Tom, beloved daughter of Claude and Pauline, and cherished sister to Jenny and Sarah. She will be forever missed by all her family and friends.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Les Houmets Care Home, son of the late Eva May and Clarence Gaudin, loved brother of Clarry, John and Jennifer and brother-in-law to Margaret. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 14 July, 2025, in the care of Jersey Hospice, aged 89 years, beloved husband to Ann, adored father to Stephen, Sally and Frances, much-loved grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

NEWCOMBE, Catherine Mary (Mary) (Jurat, retd)

Passed away peacefully in her sleep in her 88th year on Monday, 16 June, 2025, in the tender care of Les Charrieres Nursing Home. Will be sadly missed by her sister Clovissa, other relatives, friends and former colleagues.

Passed away peacefully at home aged 95, beloved husband of Gill, dearly loved father of James and Michael and father-in-law to Jane and Fay, and loving Grandpa to Alice and Grace. Ian will be greatly missed by all of his extended family and friends.

O’CONNELL, Alma

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 9 July, 2025, after a long illness, under the exceptional care of the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, London. Deeply regretted by her husband Kevin, daughter Alice, sons Liam and Tom, extended family and friends, and her beloved dog Ollie.

A memorial service will take place in Ireland on Friday, 25 July, followed by a private cremation.

MALLON, Craig John

Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, 22 June, 2025, aged 39 years, partner of Natalie, Dad to Charlie, Lillie, Ellie, Jaxson and Yogi, son of John and Andrina and her partner Stewart, brother to Kim, Cha and Lee and a loving uncle to all his nieces and nephew.

WILLIAMS, Reverend Dr Anthony David (Tony)

Died peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, 6 July, 2025, much-loved husband of the late Louise, father of Sarah and Clare. He will be remembered with great affection and missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him as a jovial priest and a compassionate family doctor. His kindness, humour, and wisdom touched many lives, including those he quite literally brought into the world (He delivered a lot of babies!).

A celebration of Tony’s life will take place at the Town Church on Tuesday, 29 July, at 2.30 pm.
