04.04.1939 – 25.02.2023.

With deepest sadness, David has the heart-breaking task to advise of the passing of his wonderful wife and soulmate since first sight in 1957. Virginia fell peacefully asleep after years of pain and suffering, holding hands with David at 5.10 am on Saturday, 25 February, 2023. She is now reunited with her beloved parents Marge and Fred.

The care and compassion of the nursing staff on Rozel ward was overwhelming. She received and gave a great deal of love and affection from both her only son Rene and his wife Bonyupha, together with Panida, and Lee and baby great-granddaughter Malika.

Our whole family will be mourning the passing of this lovely lady for a long, long time.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life service at St Paul’s Church, New Street on Tuesday, 14 March at 1.30 pm.

Passed away at Lakeside Care Home on Friday, 17 February, 2023, in his 101st year, adored and devoted husband of Kirsten and very much-loved father of Darren. Benny will be deeply missed by all his family and many friends.

Passed away in the gentle care of Jersey Hospice on Saturday, 11 February, 2023, in the presence of her beloved husband of 72 years, Bill, and her daughter Christine. She was a much-loved sister to Dorothy and the late Edna and Joan, mother to Christine and the late Michael, mother-in-law to Robin, grandmother to Lucy and Felicity and great-grandmother to Ava, Ashley, Charlotte and William. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and forever in our hearts.
