PORTER, Mickey

The Jersey Football Association extend their condolences to Ann and her family on the recent passing of Mickey Porter.

Mickey was a dedicated and influential coach for young players in Jersey and he will be sadly missed by all in the football community.

DE LA MARE, Winifred Monica (née Lenaghan)

Sadly passed away suddenly at the General Hospital on Friday, 31 March, 2023, aged 102 years, with granddaughter Amanda and Steve by her side.

A wonderful mother, Nan and great-Nan.

Thanks to the priest for her comfort to us and saying a prayer for Nan. Our heartfelt thanks also to Isabel and staff at Glanville Residential Home for the care and kindness given to Nan for the past seven years, she loved you all.

To my Nan.

I will miss my weekly visits with you, our chats, and stories together, your quirky little laugh, but I have some beautiful happy memories to keep in my heart that will always stay with me. You were the best Nan anyone could have wished for and loved very much.

Sleep tight Nan, reunited with your daughter Irene and husband Leonard.

BURNOUF, Georges Jean

Georges sadly passed away in the loving care of Jersey Hospice on Friday, 24 March, 2023, aged 85 years, adored and loving partner of Priscilla for 27 years, dearest father of Dean and the late Shane, a dear grandfather to Grace, Ryan and Alex. Georges will be greatly missed by his sister Solange and brother-in-law David, family members and all those who have got to know and met him.
