Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Jersey Hospice Care on Sunday, 24 October, 2021, aged 86 years, devoted husband of 59 years to Maureen, adored father to Karen and Samantha, much-loved father-in-law to Glenn and Jason, doting Grandpa to Oliver, Hannah, Caspar and Rufus, beloved brother to Alan and Barbara and their families.

A true gentleman and family man who will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

ALEXANDER, Beryl Eunice (née Le Brocq)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Lakeside Residential Home on Friday, 22 October, 2021, in her 101st year, loving sister to Joan and the late Laurence, Edward, Stanford, Grace and Margaret, a much-loved aunt to her nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Beryl are invited to meet at Philadelphie Chapel, St Peter on Monday, 1 November at 11 am, followed by a private interment.

Died on Friday, 1 October, 2021, aged 52 years, with her beloved husband Tristan by her side.

Died on Sunday, 24 October, 2021, loving son of Rosena and the late Bernard, dear brother to Suzanne, devoted partner to Maxine, and uncle and great-uncle.

COOMBS, Brian Leslie

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Brian Leslie Coombs on Friday, 15 October, 2021, at the age of 91. He leaves behind his loving wife Dorothea, daughters Debbie (White), Catherine (Coombs) and grandson Felix. Brian was a Merchant Seaman and spent most of his working life travelling the world and experiencing life in a bygone era. He will be missed for his sense of humour, his love of reading and his remarkable stories of life spent at sea.

Funeral Service

Brian’s funeral service will be held on Monday, 1 November at the Crematorium Chapel commencing at 11.30 am.

A committal at St Martin’s Parish Cemetery will follow.

Died suddenly aged 46 years, in Barnsley where he was living, much loved son of Dave and the late Betty Ellis, very loving father to Nicholas, much-loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and very dear friend to Rebecca and many others.

Passed away suddenly but peacefully in Spain on Tuesday, 19 October, 2021, adored Dad of Michele and Julien. Sadly missed by his loving children, son-in-law James, daughter-in-law Maleewan, grandchildren Meghan-Leigh and Finn, his brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, extended family, and his very close friends.

A memorial service is to be held at the crematorium on Wednesday, 3 November at 2.30 pm, where family and friends are invited to take part in the celebration of Dave’s life, and afterwards at the Dolphin Hotel in Gorey.

RENOUF, Frank Albert

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 21 October, 2021, adored father of Kelly and Heidi, father-in-law of Sacha and Rupert, special Popa to Brittany, Jasmine, Jessica, Katherine and Bethan. Finally reunited with the love of his life, his late wife Ruth. Loved by all who knew him in Jersey and Australia.
