You slipped away peacefully, As I caressed your face, Visualising you arriving at that beautiful place , Your last days you showed me so much courage, humour and love, Never a ‘why me?’ and ready to go to our Father up above. If I could write a story, It would be the best ever told, Of a kind and loving father, Who had a heart of gold. I will remember all you taught me, And you don’t want me to be sad, Because you will send down the answers, and you will always be my Dad.
From your heartbroken daughter Anna, son-in-law Ian and granddaughters Amy and Katie who miss you so much xxxx.
