HENWOOD, Betty May (née Chapman)

Sadly passed away on Tuesday, 18 June, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of Jersey Hospice, reunited with her beloved late husband, Bert, an adored mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. We will love and miss you always.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Betty are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmont Road, St Helier on Wednesday, 10 July at 11.30 am.

LE GOUBIN, Alfred Maurice

Passed away peacefully at Stuart Court Residential Home, aged 95 years, on Tuesday, 18 June, 2024. Alfred is now reunited with his wife Phyllis but will be sadly missed by his three children, Raymond, Denise and Jackie, his eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

TURMEL, Yvonne

Aged 64 years.

Yvonne passed away sadly on Monday, 17 June, 2024 at Jersey General Hospital after a difficult but short illness. A very special inspirational sister to Christina and brother-in-law to Stephen, dear Aunty to two special nephews Dominic his partner Alex, Michael and his wife Sharnee, great-aunt to Isaac and niece Rhiannon and her partner Matt. Such a brave lady who lived life to the full through everything she endured.

Now at rest.

MARTINS, Maria Teresa De Freitas Viveiros

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side in the care of Jersey Hospice on Saturday, 15 June, 2024, aged 66 years, beloved wife of Tony, loving mother of Sam and much-loved sister of her siblings. Maria will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

POWER, Constance Marjorie

Aged 100, passed away peacefully at home in St Laurence on Tuesday, 28 May, 2024.

Now reunited with her beloved husband Michael. She will be truly missed by her daughters Roisin and Maureen, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 9 July at 2.30 pm at the Crematorium Chapel.

STEPHENS, John Graham

Very sadly passed away peacefully at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on Tuesday, 28 May, 2024, aged 78 years, beloved father of Chris and Helena, step-father of Kurt and Craig, grandfather of Siena, Callum, Reese, Edgar, Phoebe and Matthew, and loving partner to Pam. John will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and loved ones, and will never walk alone.

Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Monday, 10 June, 2024, aged 89 years, adored wife of Ray and deeply missed by all the Wilson and Bowden families.

BAUDAINS, Philip Rondel

Aged 101 years.

Dad passed away at Stuart Court Nursing Home on Friday, 14 June, 2024, now reunited with his devoted wife Lydia. Father to myself, Philip David and grandfather to my daughter Sian, father-in-law to Nathan and great-grandfather to Harri, also father to my brothers Michael and Robert.

Many thanks to Elaine and staff at Stuart Court, particularly for the 100th birthday party they put on for Dad, which he enjoyed so much with family and friends and also for his 101st birthday party.
