CRONIN, Father Michael

Passed away peacefully at Southampton Hospital with his sister Mary and niece Catherine at his side, on Saturday, 9 November, 2024, beloved brother of Mary and Kevin, brother-in-law to Christine, beloved uncle to all his nephews and nieces.

Father Michael was born at Auberive, Millais, St Ouen on 3 March, 1943.

Father Michael Cronin’s funeral was held at his Catholic Parish Church, St Vincent de Paul, Southampton on Wednesday, 11 December.

The requiem mass was conducted by his excellency Philip Egan, the Bishop of Portsmouth as well as 12 priests from different parishes.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 14 December, 2024, loving wife of Paul, mother of Claire, Sarah, Jenny and Harry, grandmother of Jered, Kira and Joe and great- grandmother of Theo. Will be greatly missed by all of her family and many friends.

KNAGGS DALY, Josephine Annette.

11.01.1923 – 8.12.2024.

Annette, beloved mother of Bruce, Alida, Hugh and Nancy, fell asleep at home surrounded by her family. She will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A very special thanks to Magda and her team of girls from Cambrette Care who took the greatest of care of Annette.

BRADLEY, Karen Jane

Passed away peacefully at Jersey Hospice on Wednesday, 27 November, 2024, aged 60 years, much-loved partner of Brian. Karen will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

BURTON, Dorothy (née Perchard)

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 11 December, 2024, aged 98 years, Mum of Theresa, mother-in-law to Lester, Nan to Andrew and Natalie and Great-Grandma to Luc and Zak. Reunited with her late husband Vic.

Funeral Service

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Dorothy are invited to meet at Gouray Church, Gorey Hill, St Martin on Tuesday, 7 January at 11.30 am, followed by a private committal.

No mourning clothes requested.

CARREL, Jean (née Walters)

Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Manor on Wednesday, 4 December, 2024, aged 86 years, with her family at her side. She was a much-loved mother to Jacqui and John and grandmother (“Gigi”) to Francine and Charles. Jean was a wonderful lady who made a difference in many lives. She will be greatly missed by her family, extended family and many friends.
