Passed away very peacefully on Friday, 7 August, 2015, aged 83 years, surrounded by his family, greatly loved husband of Marie (Mary) and devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, step-father and step-grandfather. Special thanks to the HDU’s nursing staff, in particular to Laura Smith, she cared for John with great compassion and devotion. Passed away suddenly but peacefully, on Thursday, 6 August, 2015, a week before his 65th birthday, in the tender care of Jersey Hospice. Terence James, adored husband and soul mate of Sylvia, much-loved father of Paul and Mark, father-in-law of Emma, devoted ‘Da’ of Harry and step-Grandad to Lucy, also loving brother to Mick and John and brother-in-law of Liz and Fionuala and Jeff and Corinne. Will be sadly missed. A huge light has gone out of our lives.
