HEPPOLETTE, John Dudley Reid

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a few days in the excellent care of the wonderful staff at the General Hospital, on Sunday, 25 February, 2024, two days before his 95th birthday. Devoted and loving husband of Mazel, cherished father of Sue and her husband Jim Drew, and a loved and respected older brother to Alan and the late Bryan. He will be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law Mary and June, his nephews and nieces and all his family and friends.

A kind and gentle man.

ELOURY, Judith

Aged 80 years, Judith passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 28 February, 2024, at Jersey Hospice Care. Finally reunited with her beloved husband Ken, and late step-son Robert. Judith is survived by her daughter Karen and grandson Alex. Judith will be greatly missed by her step-son Kevin, and all her family and many friends for her warmth and her sense of humour.

DAVIES, Terence Graham (Terry)

Passed away suddenly on Thursday, 15 February, 2024, dearly loved husband of Terri, devoted Dad to Joe and Harry, adored Pops to Sam, and much-loved son and brother to Jean and Anne. Terry will be sadly missed by all his family and friends in Jersey and the UK.

It is with broken hearts Ian and Jean announce the sudden death in Bristol, of their beloved son Nick. Brother of Lisa, father of Brody and her fiancé Jonny, Noah and ‘unoffical adopted’ Dad of Max, new Grandad to his beloved little Koen. Nick leaves a huge hole in ours and extended family’s hearts.

VALIN, Margaret (née Ahier)

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, 21 February, 2024, aged 90 years. Margaret will be greatly missed by her five children, six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A much loved and respected lady.

A wonderful mother whose loving quiet care will live in with our memories.

Sadly passed away on Tuesday, 27 February, 2024, aged 91 years, widow of Wilfred Torpy and a much-loved mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

ROMERIL, Michael

Passed away with family close by on Saturday, 24 February, 2024, aged 82 years. Formerly Conservation Officer and Environmental Adviser to the States of Jersey. Beloved son of the late Hazel, dear brother to Barry, much missed husband of Angela, father of the late Jane, step-father to James and Jonathan and Gramps to seven.

Irreplaceable, he leaves a gap in all our lives.

Died peacefully on Monday, 26 February, 2024, with his wife Suzie and sons Rory and Cam by his side. A kind, loving, wise and gentle man with family at his heart. He will be sorely missed.
