Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home, on Thursday, 23 July, 2015, aged 76 years, much-loved Dad of Alison and Sharon, father- in-law of Simon. Grandad of Leon, Maisie and Megan. Reunited with his beloved wife June. Thinking of you Dad, But that is nothing new, We thought about you yesterday, And the day before that too. On Tuesday, 21 July, 2015, Dr Jane Machin, aged 82, daughter of Jenny and Reg Pallot of the former Trafalgar Bay Hotel, Gorey, sister of George and the late Reg, beloved wife for 51 years of Professor Ian Machin, much-loved mother of Jonathan, Raoul and the late Anna and Grandma of Noah, Madeleine and Léopold. Botanist and horticulturalist, taught for spells at Jersey College for Girls, South-West Essex College of Technology and Universities of Singapore, Dundee and St Andrews.
