All St Clement’s Golf members past and present would like to pass on their condolences to the family and friends of our well respected club member, Michel Briand.

No farewell words were spoken, No time to say goodbye, You were gone before I knew it, And only God knows why. My heart’s still active in sadness, And secret tears will flow, What it meant to lose you, No one can ever know. But now I know you want us, To mourn for you no more, To remember all the happy times, Life still has much in store. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 11 February 2016, at Jersey General Hospital, after a short illness borne with much courage, aged 58 years, beloved daughter of the late João and Cândida and sister of Maria, Sara, Simão, Odilia, Manuel, Agostinha, Clara, Estela, Ferdinanda and Teresa. Passed away peacefully in Brittany, on Monday, 8 February, 2016, in his 74th year, darling husband of Margaret, father of Gary, Martin, James and Julian and grandfather to seven grandchildren. A funeral service will take place in Brittany on Saturday, 13 February.
