Died peacefully in her sleep, in her 91st year, at the General Hospital after a long and painful illness, borne in silence with as ever the greatest dignity, devoted wife of the late Albert (Bert), loving mother of Brian and Susan. Mum you were my rock without you, I would not be here today. My world is turned upside down I’m devastated and heartbroken. Your generosity and love knew no bounds and your family always came first. I’m proud to have been your son, proud to love you and so pleased you knew it. My love for you will never die, my sorrow will stay with me till we meet again.

Words cannot express the sorrow that we feel at your passing. You were a Mum in a million and a mother-in-law any son-in-law would be proud to have. We will miss you every day, our only consolation is knowing that you are now at peace and reunited with Dad. Love you lots, your heartbroken daughter Sue and George.

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of St Ewold’s staff on Tuesday, 12 May, 2015, after 93 years of adventures in this world, Dad has left to rejoin his beloved Margaret in the next. Memories of him treasured by Brian, Sophie, Naomi and Léah, his son Bob and Goddaughter Gaynor and family. Be at peace.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, on Thursday, 21 May at noon. No specific dress code required.
