Vee passed peacefully away at Jersey Hospice on Wednesday, 16 July, 2025, aged 82 years, adored wife of the late Alec and step-mother to Louise. Vee will be so deeply missed and remembered with love.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Caroline Ibbet on Sunday, 6 July, 2025, at Jersey Hospice, beloved Mum to Wilson, Raphael and Jensen, she will be sorely missed.

SQUIRES, John Wilfred

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Squires, who died peacefully at home at his beloved Panorama on Tuesday, 17 June, 2025, at 10.05 pm, as he had always wished, aged 89. Surrounded by his loving family, John was the dearly loved husband of Jill, adored father of Nicola and Anita, and a wonderful father-in-law to Johan and Nic. He was a much-loved grandfather to Jean-Paul, Stephanie, Daniel, and Rebecca.

John touched the lives of all who knew him through his warmth, generosity, and ever-present sense of humour. He will be greatly missed and forever held in our hearts.

A private cremation has taken place.

RICCIO, Janet Margaret (née Peen)

Passed away on Friday, 27 June, 2025, aged 72 years, devoted wife of Giuseppe, Mum to Stefan and Adam, mother-in-law to Jen, sister to Diane, sister-in-law to John. Lovingly remembered by her friends and family for her support and kindness.

At Janet’s request, a private family funeral took place on Friday, 18 July.
