COUTANCHE, Delphina (née Le Marquand)

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of Pinewood Residential Home, on Saturday, 27 December, 2014, aged 93 years, devoted wife of the late John, beloved mother of Richard, Trevor and Melvyn, mother-in-law to Nora and the late Avrille, a much-loved grandmother and great-grandmother. Reunited with your beloved Jack. We will all miss you.

McEWAN, Maurice

Remembering Maurice (Mo) and his contribution as a player, a committee member and an important part of of the management team during the Club’s most successful years. Mo loved his football and was fiercely loyal to the Club. He was well respected and knowledgeable and his opinions were always valued. He will be remembered with respect and affection by us all, a proud Scot and a true gentleman in every sense or the word. Our deepest sympathy to Carol, Ross and Lauren.

BURNS, Jimmy

It is with great sadness to announce that Jimmy Burns has passed away peacefully at home, on Boxing Day, 2014, in Glasgow, aged 87 years. Jimmy visited Jersey often and was well known and loved by many friends here, our Dad was like no other, he loved us all and I can’t put into words to say how influential he was to us all. We love you Dad.

Daughters Helen, Geraldine, Theresa Anne, sons Thomas, Jim, John, grandchildren Greg, Cameron, Martha, Sean, Jamie, Shari, Alex, Charlie, Paul, Jodie and great-granddaughter Ellie Rose, a joy to my Dad.
