Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital, on Monday, 16 March, 2015, aged 81 years. The big man looked down one day, He wiped his brow and then did say, ‘Come on Babs it’s time to go, it’s time to leave, it’s time for you to let them grieve. ‘ So He took her hand and said ‘it’s time for us to be a plane and glide up through the peaceful sky. ‘I’m sure I heard someone say ‘we must be high those people down there look like ants. . . . . ‘So now Big Babs is sitting way up high upon a cloud with her rye and dry.

From her loving children, Linda, Chris, Fiona and Paul, her sons-in-law, daughter-in-law and all of her grandchildren locally and around the world. Funeral details to follow. All inquiries to Pitcher & Le Quesne, Funeral Directors, Telephone 733330.

BROCKEN, Richie

A true and loving friend until we meet again. Special memories of you will always bring a smile, If only I could have you back, For just a little while. Then we could sit and talk again, Just like we used to do. You always meant so very much, And always will do too. The fact that you’re no longer here, Will always cause me pain, But you’re forever in my heart, Until we meet again. Thinking of Isobel, Gemma, Laura and Richard, grandchildren Michael and Audrey, family and friends.
