We are saddened with the news of Ruth’s untimely passing which has shocked us all. The committee of the Jersey Association for Youth and Friendship, House Parents and contractors, fundraisers and volunteers and the young people of the Island past and present appreciate and give thanks for Ruth’s unfailing commitment over 25 years as our respected and much-loved Youth Counsellor. TURPIN, Dick

On behalf of all members past and present of the Jersey Dog Training Association (formally The Alsatian (GSD) Training Club) we pass on our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Dick was a founding member of the club over 40 years ago and for many years club President. He will be remembered for his patience, understanding and great love of dogs, the picture we hold of him will always be with a German Shepherd at his side. Passed away peacefully in the dedicated care of the staff of Corbière Ward, on Sunday, 26 October, 2014, aged 79 years, adored and much-loved Mum of Michelle and Tracy, mother-in-law of Patrick and Tony, devoted Nan to Jen, James and his wife Emily. Reunited with her darling Kenny. Forever in our hearts.
