GILES, Linda Mary (formerly Forrest)

Passed away peacefully after a long illness at Jersey Hospice, on Thursday, 21 August, 2014, with her loving children, Richard, Tom and Laura, at her side.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, on Friday, 29 August at noon. VAN DER VLIET, Bernard

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by nearly all his family, on Wednesday, 13 August, 2014, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Sadie and father of Geoff and Julie, father-in-law of Nicky and Steve and much-adored Poppa of Ellen, Louise, Amelia, Alex and Michael. A brave and gentle soul who never complained of the pain he suffered in several battles over 14 years, but he beat cancer in the end which he always intended to do.

Sadly passed away at the General Hospital, on Sunday, 17 August, 2014, and will be greatly missed by all the family, loving husband to Joan, much-loved father to Suzanne and Michael and father-in-law to Penny and Barry super Grandad to Lottie, Phoebe, Seren and Bethan and caring brother to Norma.

Gavin, there are no words to describe how we are all feeling. I am devastated to have lost my ‘Special Nephew’ who I loved so much. We spent so many happy times together and you left me with some wonderful memories. You were a ray of sunshine, a breath of fresh air. I will never forget your smile and laughter which was always so infectious. Until we meet again sweetheart, my love always.

Nephew, third son/neighbour and workmate. We watched you grow from boy to man and you made us very proud. We had lots of laughs and fun times along the way. You have left a big hole in our lives and our hearts. Our loss is Grandma’s gain. You will be forever missed. RIP.

Passed away on Wednesday, 13 August, 2014, at Southampton General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, aged 60 years, will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Yasmine, children Charlene, Lee, Jemma, Harry and all the families and also his grandson Alex.
