COLLINGS, Elizabeth (Carpenter) (née Schösser)

I wish that I could tell you I am not ready to let you go,

But you have already departed and my heart is very low.

I miss that little twinkle that used to light up your eyes and I miss the sound of your voice, your laughter and your sighs.

But most of all, I miss the way you made me feel like nothing could ever harm me, because your love was so strong and real.

I don’t want to say goodbye, just to wish you eternal peace.

God bless you my second Mum.

Mary.

COLLINGS, Elizabeth (Carpenter) (née Schösser)

My Oma (Grandma),

Your love for us remained constant, unwavering and boundless, I close my eyes and still feel the softness of your hands, hear your gentle voice as you sang us to sleep.

Thank you for everything you’ve done and achieved for us.

Love and miss you with all my heart.

Alexander.
