Passed away Saturday, 2 August, 2014, aged 81 years. You were so good, so very rare, Content in your home and always there. Kind, unselfish, ready to aid, The dearest man God ever made. You had a smile for everyone, A heart as good as gold. In silence he suffered, in patience he bore, Till God called him home to suffer no more.

Passed away after a short illness in the care of the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, on Sunday, 3 August, 2014, beloved husband of Maureen, much-loved father of Julia and her husband Richard, adored stepfather of Elaine and her husband Stephen, Claire and her husband Dale, devoted Grandad of Tim, Alex and Camilla. Passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, 22 July, 2014, with his family around him, at L’Hermitage Care Home. A private funeral has been held.
