Passed peacefully away at the General Hospital, on Sunday, 26 October, 2014, aged 94 years, loving wife of the late Herbert, mother of Jean and Derek, mother-in-law of Marilyn and Peter and Grandma of Louise, Lindsey and Lisa. We are saddened with the news of Ruth’s untimely passing which has shocked us all. The committee of the Jersey Association for Youth and Friendship, House Parents and contractors, fundraisers and volunteers and the young people of the Island past and present appreciate and give thanks for Ruth’s unfailing commitment over 25 years as our respected and much-loved Youth Counsellor. We offer our condolences to Chris and Ruth’s family. The JAYS community will be represented at her funeral in Leicestershire.

Dick was a founding member of the club over 40 years ago and for many years club President. He will be remembered for his patience, understanding and great love of dogs, the picture we hold of him will always be with a German Shepherd at his side.
