After a courageous battle with cancer, sadly passed peacefully away surrounded by his close family at home on Thursday, 3 October, 2013, devoted husband to Olga, loving father to Sonia, father-in-law to Charlie, doting grandfather to Dylan and Cassie, ‘Avô’ to Jessica and Kyle and Godfather to Monica. An amazing man, whose infectious laugh, humour and kindness will be sorely missed by all his family and friends in Jersey, Madeira and Portugal.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Luis are invited to meet at St Thomas’ Church, on Friday, 18 October, at 10. 30 a. m. , followed by burial at Surville Cemetery. Passed away peacefully on Monday, 7 October, 2013, at the Limes aged 85 years, beloved wife of the late George Edward, much-loved mother of Jason, Lloyd and Ashley, dear mother-in-law of Sue and Julie and devoted Grandma of Jessica and Nathan.
