Passed away peacefully at Jersey General Hospital, on Saturday, 18 May, 2013, aged 92 years, wife of the late Arthur, much-loved Mum of Jim and Peter, mother-in-law of Joan. She will be greatly missed by all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all who knew her. Always remembered.

Born in Bury, Manchester, on 8, January 1922, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 12 May, 2013, at Lakeside Care Home, aged 91 years, much-loved mother of Steve. Your duty from 1942-1945 in preparation for D-Day will always be remembered. The Doodlebugs, bombs and bullets never ever caused you to flinch in your duty. The soldiers of all ranks admired your strength and recognised the exhaustion of your continuous efforts to secure both before and after D-Day the success of the landings and subsequent hostilities which ended on 8 May.
