Passed away on Sunday, 25 August, 2013, at L’Hermitage Nursing Home, much-loved husband of Sybil, devoted father to Sally and Jill, father-in-law to Paul and Colin, and brother-in-law to Hillary. Sydney died as he lived, peacefully and with dignity, and with Sybil, Sally and Jill by his side. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Sydney’s funeral will take place on Monday, 2 September, at Trinity Parish Church at noon. Passed away peacefully in New Zealand, on Wednesday, 14 August, 2013, after a courageous fight against illness. Sadly missed by her husband Lionel and all their family and friends both in New Zealand and in Jersey. The Jersey Hockey Association is deeply saddened to record the death of Ruth Sangan who was a tireless supporter of hockey and, in particular, the Junior Development Programme. Ruth’s spirit of fair play and sense of humour will be greatly missed and the whole hockey community extends its heartfelt sympathy to Stuart, Louis, Pierre and her wider family.

Much-loved sister-in-law to Elaine and Ade, a fun and energetic auntie to Danielle, Leigh and Carl. Never to be forgotten, our thoughts are with Stuart, Louis and Pierre at this sad time.

Passed away in her 106th year on Tuesday, 20 August, 2013, in the presence of her family and in the caring hands of the Little Sisters, wife of the late John (Jack) Rene Le Mains, much-loved mother of Terry and Eileen, mother-in-law of Joan and Paul, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a wonderful mother who will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend a funeral service for Anna are invited to meet at St Martin’s Catholic Church, St Martin, on Wednesday, 28 August at noon, followed by private burial. Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Sunday, 18 August, 2013. He will be greatly missed by his brother Max, sister-in-law Pat, nephew Martin and all his many good friends in Jersey and the UK. Funeral details to follow. A much admired sister-in-law. Beautiful, strong and determined till the end. Stuart was her rock and her sons Louis and Pierre made her so proud. She will always be in our hearts and never forgotten.
