BOBR, Victor

I held your hand and stroked your head, Late night calls that filled me with dread. Such a brave face in front of friends, But I saw the suffering at day’s end. That’s not how I will remember you, There were good times, plenty of laughter too. Memories will be happy, full of love and fun. With someone I was proud to call ‘Son’. Dear Vic, you will live in my heart forever. Rest in peace until we meet again.

Mum no 2 (Carol) XXX.

So much sorrow, With infinite pain, The emotions inside, I could never explain. My brother has left, As I stand here and cry, My burning tears, Are asking me why. I’ll cherish those memories, Both of us shared, He was a person, Who genuinely cared. I miss him so much, Just can’t say goodbye, I know he’d want me, To keep my head up high. I loved him so much, My brother and dear friend, I wish I could wake, And this nightmare would end. But now I must let him, Just rest in peace, His memory and image, I shall never release. Sleep tight Vic, we’re both going to miss you so much.

All our love, Hayley and Tom XXX.

My dearest grandson you will never be forgotten, and those we love still walk beside us every day. Your spirit is free to soar over mountains, be in the crashing waves on the shore, and in the sunlight gently warming our faces – a kiss from you. Now at peace.
