You made me so proud to be your brother, the hole you have left in my life and heart can never be filled. You battled for so long, never gave up ever, you were always happy, positive and the courage you showed is a lesson to us all. No more pain now, rest in peace Lady Jo. Whenever I was taking part in a sporting event you were always there to support me. Whenever I needed some advice you were always there to advise me. Whenever I was upset you were always there with with your arm around me. When I was younger and got into trouble you were always there to guide me. When I needed somebody to come and have a pint with, you were always there to drink with me. Not just me, you were there for all your grandchildren. I guess I now know what it feels like to lose a Dad. I have always been and always will be proud to be called Frank Nicholson’s grandson. Goodbye Grandad, thanks for everything. Love you always.
Your broken-hearted grandson Michael. Dear Papa

My father. . . My rock. I have beautiful memories of a father whose worth can never be told. There’s a place in my heart no one can ever fill. Part of me has gone to heaven with you.
