MULLEN, Cormac Brendan (Jersey and Clonakitty)

Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, 1 September, 2023. Brendan will be deeply mourned and sadly missed by his wife Mary Sheehy, daughters Jennifer and Susan, sons Cormac, Gerard and Joey, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his sister Joan, brothers Raymond, Kevin and Paddy; also his former wife, Josephine.

Funeral Service

Funeral service will take place on Friday, 15 September at 11.30 am in St Patrick’s Church, St Clement, with private cremation afterwards.

Mary and Brendan’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to those who cared for Brendan, especially the doctors, nurses, hospice palliative care team, Family Nursing & Home Care service, and the dedicated staff of Orchid Care who ensured he was comfortable in his final days.

POWER, Christopher Joseph

Aged 68 years, Chris passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, 26 August, 2023, much-loved husband to Jane, father to Samantha and Kate, father-in-law to Emmanuel and Simon and adored grandfather to his four grandchildren.

There are no words for how much Chris will be missed by his family and friends.

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of St Joseph’s, on Wednesday, 30 August, 2023, aged 95 years, loving mother of Marion and Jan and mother-in-law to Odian and Nigel. A treasured grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.

Now reunited with her beloved husband Bob. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.

Sadly passed away in the General Hospital on Friday, 25 August, 2023, aged 88, after a bravely fought illness, devoted husband of Marie-Antoinette, loving father of Paul-Marie, Angelina and Remi, dear brother of Andre and Therese and the late Colette, loving grandfather of Raphael, Pascal, Louis, Clement, Marie-Christine, Benjamin and Noah. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends in Jersey, France, Southampton and California.

Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital on Saturday, 26 August, 2023, aged 63 years, much-loved father of Ruben and Steven, grandfather of Bradley. Joao will be deeply missed.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the funeral service for Joao are invited to meet at St Thomas’ Catholic Church on Wednesday, 13 September at noon.

Followed by interment in Surville Cemetery.
