Passed away suddenly on Friday, 10 February, 2023, aged 64 years, daughter of the late John and Andrée, a much-loved and special sister to Anne, Tess, Mia, Liz, Johnny, the late Marguerite, Andrée, Cally and Paula, a devoted sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt.

Passed away at home on Saturday, 11 February, 2023, aged 93 years, beloved husband to Sylvia and much-loved father to John, Philip and James, father-in-law to Sue, Karen and Nicky, grandfather to Danielle, Natalie, Jody, Molly and Lily and great-grandfather to Lucas. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

HORTON, Peter

23.11.1943 – 08.02.2023.

Dearest husband of Jeannine (née Derrien), in his 80th year and Golden Wedding year, passed away peacefully in the tender care of Rozel Ward at the General Hospital. Peter was a loving brother of the late Tommy and Rose, a well loved brother-in-law to Helen, John and Carol, Marie and the late Russell, loving uncle and cousin. He will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

EVANS, Michael Richard (Mike)

Ex Senior Master, St Michael’s School.

Died whilst on holiday in Kenya, aged 79 years.

Very much-loved husband of Pam, father of Deryn and Rhiannon, father-in-law of Matt and John, Taid to Niamh, Tom, Charlie, Ben and Charlotte. He will be remembered for his kindness, wit and humour. He will be greatly missed and always in our hearts. A truly gentle gentleman.

Thanksgiving Service

A service for his life will take place at Trinity Parish Church on Friday, 3 March at 2 pm.
