LEES-BAKER, Richard John

My brother Dick fell asleep on Friday, 17 June, 2022, he showed such courage whilst being cared for lovingly by all at hospice.

Now at peace in the safe care of his maker. Reunited with brother Jim. We cherish his memory as he journeys on.

Much loved, greatly missed.

Till we meet again.

MELIN, John Roland (Roy)

Passed away peacefully in the care of the General Hospital on Thursday, 16 June, 2022, aged 91 years, beloved husband of 65 years to Betty, adored father to Dawn, Steven (Gus) and Paul, he is much loved by Steve, Romana and Jill, very proud Grandad of Marc and Laura, Natalie, Jonathan and Nina. Roy will be so deeply missed by all his family and many friends.

GLAUSER, John

Suddenly on Wednesday, 15 June, 2022, in hospital in England, John Glauser, aged 93 years, dearly loved husband and best friend of Judith, adored father of Edward, Annabel and Antony, loving father-in-law to Vanessa and Annette, and much-loved grandfather to William, Jessica, Alexander and James – his beautiful family.

MESSITER, Myra Isobel (M.N.: Smith)

Died at Silver Springs on Thursday, 2 June, 2022, aged 85 years.

For 47 years, the devoted and beloved wife of Michael, who will miss her greatly, as will her friends and relations. She is at last free of the pain and frustration of a long decline.

QUENAULT, Margaret Anna (née Amy)

Passed away peacefully at Silver Lea Nursing Home on Thursday, 16 June, 2022, aged 96 years, beloved wife of the late Donald, loving mother of Sonia, Jim, Allan, Aley and Jill, doting grandmother to Paul, Sarah, Matthew, Ashley, Nicole, Lewis, Sara and Laurence, proud great-grandmother to Robin and Ben, and a great friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

REYNOLDS, Norma (née Avison)

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 19 June, 2022, aged 72 years, with her loving husband Keith at her bedside holding her hand.

Norma never complained throughout her prolonged illness and kept her wonderful sense of humour to the very end. She will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and all who knew her.

We had so many happy times together on our travels through life.

CABELDU, Elaine Mary (née Scampton)

Slipped away on Friday, 17 June, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer, adored wife of David, gentle mother of Mel, Nan to Rocky, sister of Jo – now together again, sister-in-law and best friend to Maureen. Loved by all who met her.

You were so brave my darling – Life will never be as rich.

HARVEY, Stephen John FCA

Died peacefully at home on Wednesday, 15 June, 2022, aged 90 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Susan, three daughters, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and all who loved him.

Many thanks for the wonderful care he received from Sandybrook, Karen’s Carers, Family Nursing team, Dr Scaife, Dr Chohan and many others in the health service.

KISER, Peter Joseph (Sepp)

Passed away peacefully on Monday, 6 June, 2022.

His family in Switzerland and friends in Jersey give their grateful thanks to the caring staff at both St Saviour’s Hospital and Les Charrières Care Home for their devoted care over a long period of time.
