Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, 11 October, 2022, aged 82 years, very much-loved husband of Joan, loving big brother to Joyce and brother-in-law to Gerry and Iris, adored Dad to Adrian and Anthony, father-in-law to Vikki and Rose, uncle to Jason, Shane, Darren and Alan, and special Poppa to Harley, Liam and Kaitlyn.

Finally able to rest in peace.

Peacefully passed away in the care of Le Petit Bosquet Care Home on Wednesday, 12 October, 2022, aged 81 years, much-loved wife of Malcolm for 58 years, dearest mother to Richard, Rachel and Matthew, caring Nan to Alan and Kelly. She will be deeply missed by all.

There will be a private family funeral service and interment.

AHIER-KERR, Sonia

Sadly Sonia died peacefully on Friday evening, 14 October, 2022, at the General Hospital, aged 95 years.

Sonia led a yoga group and participated in marathons and pentanque. She was a staunch supporter of many charities and local causes including the Jersey Arts Centre, Oxfam and Société Jersiare.

Sonia was the youngest daughter of Henry Ahier and Jenne (née Crespel). She has been a widow for 30 years.

Her family Steve and Kath, Tony, Tina and Phil would like to thank her friends Jacqui, Michael, Diana and Joan and staff of St Joseph’s Care Home and Rozel Ward for their dedicated care and support, also, Cyd and Betty le Bal for being there for us during our frequent visits.
