To a beautiful man who was loved so dearly.

Passed away at home surrounded by his loving family after a short illness, much-loved husband of Angela, devoted Dad to Vikki and Greg, father-in-law to Matt and Anna, beloved son and brother who will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

LAKEMAN, Barbara Mary (née Drouin)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 11 August, 2022, aged 95 years, proud Mum of John, Paul, Anne, Elizabeth, Madeleine, Cristine and Christopher, much-loved Gran, great-Grandma and auntie.

Requiem Mass

A requiem mass will take place at St Martin’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, 31 August at 2 pm.

No flowers or mourning clothes please.

Barbara enjoyed a long and full life. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.

Passed away on Friday, 22 July, 2022, beloved wife of the late Stan. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.

HUGHES, Jim

Sunrise 22.11.1950. Sunset 04.08.2022.

Jim passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones Libby, Emma, Hazel, Rory, Adrienne, and Tiernan. Jim was a legend and will be sorely missed by us all, including his family in Ireland, Mummar, Alex, Mish and dear little Willow and many many friends near and afar.

It was Jim’s wish to have a private cremation.

A memorial service will be held later in Ireland.

LE FEUVRE, Iris Medora (nee Renouf) (MBE)

It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Iris, the first female Connétable of St Lawrence and also of our Island. She served for five terms (1984 to 2000) as Madame Connétable and before that one term as Parish Deputy.

Past and present members of the Municipality who wish to attend the funeral service, please note it is to be held at St Helier Methodist Centre on Thursday, 18 August at 11 am.
