SMITHURST, Bridget (née Barclay)

Much-loved Mum of Alison and Sarah, mother-in-law to Guy and Steve, and grandmother of Cameron and Lily, passed peacefully on Saturday, 13 November, 2021, at Jersey Hospice. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Service

Those wishing to attend Bridget’s funeral service are invited to meet at the Crematorium Chapel, Westmount Road, St Helier on Wednesday, 1 December at 11.30 am.

FREEMAN, Richard

Son of Maggie and the late Tony, younger brother to Anna and brother-in-law to Adrian, died suddenly on Saturday, 13 November, 2021, at his home in Clifden, Ireland.

A private funeral service will take place in Ireland.

HAIRON, Pearl Marjorie (née De Gruchy)

Passed away peacefully after a long illness, in the arms of her beloved husband of 59 years, Ken, on Thursday, 11 November, 2021, much-loved Mum of Karl and his wife Jane, loving Nanny to Aimee and Alice. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Died on Thursday, 11 November, 2021, at the General Hospital after a short illness borne with great courage. Much-loved husband of Ann, beloved Dad of Sarah and Emma, father-in-law of Kevin and Rob, and a devoted and adored Grandad of Matilda, Thomas and Abbie.

Died peacefully in her sleep, on Tuesday, 26 October, 2021, at the Jersey Hospital after a short illness. Midge was very much loved by her family and friends.

HISCOCK, Lucille Yvonne (née Reux)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, 5 November, 2021, in Tasmania, in her 96th year. Lucille will be dearly missed by John and Martyn and their families, and also by her younger siblings Elise, Ray, Andre, and Marcel, and all her family and friends in Jersey.

Now reunited with her beloved Arthur.
