It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the sudden death of Sadie, our long-serving Connétable, who gave so many years of dedicated service to our Parish and to our Island.

The Municipality and Parish Staff send our sincerest condolences to Sadie’s family and friends.

Those past and present members of the Municipality who wish to attend the funeral are asked to meet at St Saviour’s Parish Church at 2 pm on Tuesday, 3 May.

Passed away peacefully at the Jersey General Hospital on Saturday, 23 April, 2022, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Jennifer, treasured father of Philip, David, Alan, Edmund, Anne and partners, devoted Grandad to Ben, Sian, Tom, Lucy and Carly. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

Members of Jersey RFC and the club’s ‘Old Grunts’ fraternity have been saddened by news of the death of former team-mate and 1st XV coach on Wednesday, 20 April, 2022, aged 78 years. ‘Cookie’ will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

Passed away peacefully at Cheval Roc Nursing Home on Saturday, 23 April, 2022, aged 81 years, with his loving children Kirsten and Gavin by his side, loved husband of the late Sandra, and Grandpa to Isabelle, Lara, Logan and Elodie. Neilson will be greatly missed by all.

Passed away at the General Hospital on Thursday, 17 March, 2022, aged 79 years, reunited with his late wife Annick, Papa to Jean-Louis, Joel and Isabelle, father-in-law to Andrew and Luz, and Papi to Rebecca.

Died peacefully in her sleep at Silver Springs Care Home in the early hours of Friday, 15 April, 2022, aged 85 years, adored wife of Gordon for 64 years, proud and loving mother to Stephen, loving mother-in-law to Angela, beloved sister to Jacqueline and the late Philip, devoted aunt to Andrew, Christopher, Paul Le Gresley, Toni, Linda, Laraine, Tom, Tracey, Kim, Simone, Paul Richard, Barnaby, Michelle, Richard and Daniel, and fond sister-in-law of David, Shirley, Selwyn, Tony, Gloria, Sylvia, the late Basil, Joan and Terry. A unique and wonderful lady who will be forever missed.
