It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing away of John, who served as a

Constable’s Officer for 13 years in the Parish of St Martin.

HOLMES, Shirley Irene (née Stuart) (Pippa)

Passed away peacefully in the tender care of Jersey Hospice with her beloved husband Terry at her side, on Saturday, 24 July, 2021, aged 71 years, much-loved Mum of Stuart and Andrew, mother-in-law of Jeannette, loving Grandma of Joshua, Sam and Chloe, devoted sister of Ian and Sheila. She will be sadly missed by all those lives she touched.

A private family funeral will take place.

SEYMOUR, Lawrence Christopher

Passed away at home in South Africa on Monday, 26 July, 2021, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Penny, dearly loved brother of Robin and brother-in-law to Rita and Ken, much-loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Lawrence will be sadly missed by all the Seymour family and his many friends and colleagues at Seymour Hotels who would all like to pass on their condolences to Penny and Lawrence’s family.

Lawrence will be cremated in South Africa and returned to Jersey to be interred beside Gillian and Jamie.

A memorial service may be held in Jersey at a date to be announced.

Passed away peacefully in the amazing care of the staff at Ronceray Care Home on Wednesday, 28 July, 2021, aged 70 years, beloved wife of Stuart, devoted and loving Mum of Amy, Katie and Thomas, mother-in-law to Dan, loving Nana to Gracie. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
