SAUSSEY, June

It’s been the hardest thing to lose you, you meant the world to us,

But you are in our hearts Nan, and that’s where you’ll always be.

We know that Heaven called you, but we wish you could have stayed,

At least the memories we have of you, they will never fade.

We did not want to lose you, but you did not go alone,

Because a part of us went with you, when Heaven called you home.

So just remember one thing, we are not apart,

You’re with us in our memories, and in our broken hearts.

Love you always Nan.

– Maria, Danny, Kenan and Jack xx.

SAUSSEY, June

Mum, you held my hand when I was small, you caught me when I fell,

The hero of my childhood, and of latter years as well.

Every time I think of you, my heart just fills with pride,

And though I’ll always miss you, I know you’re by my side.

In laughter and in sorrow, in sunshine and in rain,

I know you’re watching over me, until we meet again.

– Your loving son Rory X.

SAUSSEY, June

So loved and dearly missed.

Forever in our hearts.

Maman is gone.

The loss is a complicated shape we have yet to see the whole of, but we will remember her as a woman with absolute confidence in herself, a fondness for teddies and an extra sugar in everything.

Rest in peace.

– Rebecca, Rhiannon, Bronwen and Imogen.
