After illness bravely borne, passed away peacefully on Saturday, 27 February, 2021, in the tender, loving care of L’Hermitage, beloved husband of Jackie and adored father of Nicholas, Marie and nephew Andrew, granddaughters Mia, Cody, Nicole and Lauren, daughter-in-law Lorraine and son-in-law Gary. Forever in our hearts.

SPENCE, Sydney

Loving husband to Jackie and father to Christian, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, 3 March, 2021, aged 83 years. Everybody knew Syd as a kind and generous man who was highly respected in the Island’s sporting community having been a long-standing member of Spartans Athletics in the early days before becoming the Jersey Island Games General Team Manager for many years. He will be deeply missed so very much by all his family and friends.
