Mum,

If I could have only one more day, only one more, I would pick up the phone and tell you I love you.

I would thank you for loving me unconditionally, and I would thank you for helping me to be me.

You were such a loving, thoughtful, caring Mum, you had a keen eye for style (and anything that sparkled!).

On Monday, 10 May, 2021, Kath passed away peacefully in her 101st year at Jersey General Hospital, where she had worked as a staff nurse throughout the occupation years. Adored mother of Jane and Sarah, grandmother of Eliot, Kate, George and Eleanor, and great-grandmother to eight children – she was the pillar of the family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
