HURST, John Gethin

Passed away peacefully at the hospice, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, 15 March, 2020, aged 75 years, devoted husband of the late Cara, a loving brother, uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle who will be sadly missed.

A private family funeral will take place, followed at a later date by a memorial to celebrate John’s life.

ILLINGWORTH, Brian

Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, 15 March, 2020, aged 85 years, beloved husband for nearly 63 years of Irene Renouf Illingworth (née Robins), loving father of Julie and the late Michael, father-in-law to Derek, doting grandfather of Chris and Kayleigh, also, he was a respected family member and friend to Sophie, Darren and Gillian Journeaux. He will be greatly missed by all.

Due to the Coronavirus, a private family burial will be taking place, and a date for a church memorial service and wake will be announced later in the year.

LAYZELL, Gwyneth Kathleen (née Cullinane)

Died peacefully on Tuesday, 17 March, 2020, aged 93 years, fortified by the rites of the Roman Catholic Church. Dearly beloved wife of the late John Richmond Layzell, devoted mother of Philippa, Sharyn, Virginia, Alastair and Rebecca, mother-in-law of Brent, Derek, John, Anne and Mark. Loving grandmother of Alexander, Victoria, Daniel, Christian, Jonathan, Matthew, Thomas, Lucy-Ann, Eloise, William, Natasha, Bethany and Sebastian, great-grandmother of Banjo, Charlotte, Lenny, Gracie, Sonny, Leo, Max, Benjamin, Maisie, Tobias, George, Grace and Phineas. She has gone before us marked with the sign of faith.

Requiescat in pace.

A private funeral will be followed by a memorial mass later this year.

CHIVILO, Giuseppe (Pino)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, 11 March, 2020, aged 88 years, beloved husband of Carol, devoted Dad of Daniela and Lucia, father-in-law of Jon and Jonathan, loving Grandad (Gaga) of Bethany, Tyler, Charlie and Isabella. Always in our memories and forever in our hearts.

Sadly passed away peacefully, at home in the tender care of his family on Thursday, 12 March, 2020, aged 61 years, treasured husband to Jill, wonderful Dad to William and James, son-in-law to Eileen, brother-in-law to Caroline, Andy, Richard and Hayley, uncle to Callum, Craig, Jamie and Celine. Colin was the heart of the family and was a true gentleman. He will be so greatly missed and remembered by all his family and many friends.
