Brenda passed away surrounded by her family at Jersey Hospice Care, after a short illness bravely fought, on Monday, 15 September, 2025, aged 85 years, cherished wife of Ted, much-loved Mum of Debbie, Paul and Dolan and much-loved Grandma of Nikita, Danielle, Sara and Kowloon. Brenda will be forever missed by her husband, children and grandchildren.

LUCE, Brian Ernest

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 6 September, 2025, aged 89 years in the care of Silver Springs Care Home.

Precious time spent together Dad in your last weeks and two hours before we lost you. Beloved father of Jacqueline, father-in-law to Lee and much-loved Papa of Daniel.

BAILLIE, June Florence (née Pasturel)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 11 September, 2025, in the presence of her family at the Jersey General Hospital, aged 88 years, loving wife to the late Charles Baillie, dear sister to Jillian and aunt to Karen, Alison and Mandy. Beloved mother to Johnny and Dawn, loving mother-in-law to Sebastian and adored Nan to Joshua and Leona. June was also grandmother to Jonathan, Natalie, Kristen and Gemma and had five great-grandchildren. June was dearly loved and will be forever in our hearts and minds.

The family would like to thank everyone involved with June’s compassionate care at the Jersey General Hospital during her last days, including the wonderful and caring support from Jersey Hospice. We would also like to thank Dr Elizabet Gomes Dos Santos in Oncology and Dr Naidoo at the First Medical Practice for June’s excellent care during her long illness.

Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day,

Unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear.

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 7 September, 2025, aged 97 years, beloved Mum to Alan, David, Tom and the late Frankie, mother-in-law to Theresa and Lynne, adored Gran to her 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
