Peacefully passed away at Jersey Hospice Care, surrounded by her granddaughters on Saturday, 7 September, 2019, in her 88th year, mother to Tony, Granny to Stephen, Michelle and Sinéad and great-Granny to Edward, George and Libby.

If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away. As well as my Mum, you were my best friend, we had so many great times, you made me who I am today. Love you always.

Died peacefully at the Grange Care Home, Stamford in the Vale on Sunday, 25 August, 2019. He lived with his wife Ann, his son Dominic and daughter Ruth at Fontygary, near Rhoose. His brother Leo, his wife Yvonne and their daughters Alison and Frances, also his grandchildren Leon, Benjamin, Meredith, Harry, Laurence and Curtis all enjoyed his company and will miss him greatly. His funeral is to be held in the Cotswolds.
