LE GOUPIL, Margaret

Grandma, We’re sending a dove to heaven with a parcel on it’s wings, Be careful when you open it, it’s full of beautiful things. Inside are a million kisses, wrapped up in a million hugs, To say how much we miss you, and to send you all our love.

Love Nick, Lucy, Lacey and Tilly xxxx.

LE GOUPIL, Margaret Mabel (née Le Vesconte)

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you and whispered ‘come to me’. With tearful eyes we watched you, as you slowly slipped away, And though we loved you dearly, we couldn’t make you stay. Your golden heart stopped beating, your tired hands put to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.

From your loving daughter Anne and son-in-law Jack, grandchildren Sarah and Adi, Lucy and Nick, Mark and Melody and great-grandchildren Lacey, Tilly and ‘bump’.

LE GOUPIL, Margaret Mabel (née Le Vesconte)

If roses grow in heaven, Lord please pick a bunch for me, Place them in my mother’s arms and tell her they’re from me. Tell her I love her and miss her, and when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day, But there’s an ache within my heart that will never go away.

From your loving daughter Karen and son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren Stuart and Amy, Laura and Gary, great-grandchildren Jess, Tyler, David, Thomas, Lily, Charlie, Daisy and Ellie-Jayne.

LE GOUPIL, Margaret Mabel (née Le Vesconte)

Weep not for me though I have gone, into that gentle night, Grieve if you will but not for long, upon my soul’s sweet flight. I am at peace, my soul’s at rest, there is no need for tears, For with your love I was so blessed, for all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not, the fear is now all gone, Put now these things out of your thoughts, in your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath, remember not the strife, Please do not dwell upon my death, but celebrate my life. To a wonderful, devoted mother, from her loving son Colin xx.
