PATON, Tom

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor on Thursday, 27 September, 2018, aged 86 years, beloved husband of Pat. Tom will be so deeply missed. DOUGUET, Sister Suzanne

With fondest memories of a dearly loved teacher, colleague, friend and member of the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception’s Jersey Community, who died peacefully on Monday, 24 September, 2018. Sister Suzanne, previously known as Sister Margaret, arrived in Jersey for the first time in 1947 and then returned to the Island and joined Beaulieu from 1950 – 1971, where she was in charge of our male students in the Primary School. Sister Suzanne then went to the UK, returning to Beaulieu in 1978, where she stayed until 1996, working as a teacher in the Primary School. She then retired, but remained a constant support to Sister Marie Louise and the rest of the community. In 2008 Sister Suzanne returned to the Mother House in St Meen, France. Sister Suzanne was a very special part of the Beaulieu family for many years and will be sadly missed by everyone.

PATTERSON, Jackie Irwin

Passed away suddenly, in Dublin on Monday, 24 September, 2018, beloved and devoted father of Susan and Nigel. He will be greatly missed by his loving children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister Joan and brothers, David and Brian, son-in-law JM, daughter-in-law Yvonne, brother-in-law Robert, nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends in Jersey, Ireland and South Africa. Died peacefully at Glanville Residential Home on Wednesday, 19 September, 2018, aged 96 years, much-loved wife of the late Kiuan and mother of Lyndon, Thomas and Pearl, mother-in-law to Yuen, Lisa and Dean, grandmother to Constance, Franklin and Jian, Theodore, William, Juliet, Max and Lucian. She will be sadly missed.
