‘Sanctum’ by Beulah B Malkin.

I built a tiny garden, in a corner of my heart,

I kept it just for lovely things and bade all else depart.

And ever was there music and flowers blossomed fair,

And never was it perfect, until you entered there.

SLATTER, Kathleen

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 10 August, 2024, with her family around her. She bravely and acceptingly fought a full ten years of medical conditions, which she did with dignity. She left her daughters Karen and Nicky, friend to Charlton, Nanny to Lawrence and Emma and in a few short months would have met her first great-granddaughter of which she was very excited.

Positive Steps cared for her at home, which was her wish, and the carers became strong friends. Our thanks to the staff of Plemont Ward for looking after all of us in her last few days, especially during her time with oncology, the love, support and friendship they gave, but most of all to Dr Rubin Soomal.
