Passed away peacefully at home after a short illness on Tuesday, 23 January, 2018, aged 69 years, beloved father of Glen and Kirsty, adored grandfather of Finlay and Ella. also dearly loved and missed by Ellen, Sheila, John, Jacqui, Pat and the rest of the family.

BENEST, Roger Sydney

Passed away on Wednesday, 17 January, 2018 at the General Hospital. Sadly missed by his two sisters, Jean and Joan and his brothers-in-law Malcolm and Roy and their families. So glad that we all spent Christmas Day together. Now reunited with his father John and mother Gladys.

ANDERSON, Joan (née Lilley)

Passed away peacefully at Silver Springs Care Home on Monday, 22 January, 2018. A big thank you to the staff at Silver Springs and Overdale – Samarès where she made new friends and was truly looked after. Now joined her beloved late husband Alex in heaven. Will be sadly missed by her children, Deborah, Michele and Carl, grandchildren, Sophie, Jamie, Matthew, Laura, Daniel, Megan and Becky. siblings Christine, Robert, Peter and the late Margaret. TRENT, Ken

To many he was a veteran of the war. We knew him as charismatic, fun and wise. To us he was Uncle Ken.

LE LUYER, Yvonne Marie

Passed away peacefully in the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor on Tuesday, 16 January, 2018 aged 100 years, beloved Mum of Jenny, Rosemarie, Isabelle and Yvonne, a dearly loved Grandma, great-Grandma, aunt and Mum-in-law, ‘Grandma’ to everyone. She will be very sadly missed by all her family and friends in Jersey, Australia and France.

A funeral and celebration of her life will be held at the Chapel of the Little Sisters of the Poor on Friday, 26 January at 1 pm followed by a private burial. Family flowers only.
