It is with tremendous sadness and very heavy hearts that Vasco, Ann-Marie and Joanna announce the passing, at home, of their beloved wife and mother on Sunday, 19 February, 2017, whilst surrounded by her devoted family. The angels came calling in order to reunite her with her cherished son, Stephen. A battle valiantly fought with grace, dignity, resilience and true Scottish spirit. Slipped away from us aged 49 years at Centre Hospitalier, Saint-Malo on Friday, 17 February, 2017, after a brave battle to get home. No words can do justice to the loss that we feel. Your devastated partner of nine years, Jacqui Abraham and family, Russell, Eva and baby Eric, Chris, Lou and Mia. You will be forever in our thoughts xxx.

A funeral will take place in Bordeaux on Friday, 24 February at the request of Al’s sons Alex and Jack. A ceremony will take place in Jersey for his family and friends in due course. Details to follow.
