Passed away peacefully at the General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, 19 February, 2020, aged 48 years, a loving son, brother and uncle who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. MERREN, Paul Gerard

Jenny, Anthony and Sharon would like to thank all their family and friends for so much loving support following Paul’s sad death. The many cards, flowers and Telephone calls have been a great comfort. To everybody who attended the funeral service, and grateful thanks to all the doctors and nursing staff on AEU and Plémont wards, the ambulance service, Dr S Henry Paul for all Paul’s care, and the Stroke Association for their support over the years. Julian De La Cour from Maillard’s for his kind and compassionate guidance, making Paul’s funeral service just what he would have wanted, and Alicia Jarvie the Celebrant for such a lovely service. Our heartfelt thanks to you all. Finally, Jenny would like to give a special thanks to Anthony and Sharon for their amazing help guiding her through things she would have been totally unable to cope with.

BURKHARDT, Jean Mary (née Pinel)

Nancy and Juliette wish to thank family and friends for attending the funeral service. The General Hospital Nurses for their care and kindness shown to us, Glen Ferrie and Fig Tree House care homes where Jean spent her latter years and made sure I was not alone when Jean peacefully passed away. Finally, we thank Alicia of Maillard’s Funeral Care who conducted the service, and for her kind support throughout.

RUELLAN, Bernice (née Blackmore)

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, 20 February, 2020, in the care of L’Hermitage Care Home, aged 89 years. Reunited with Shorty, beloved mother of Emma and mother-in-law to Chris.

LE MIERE, Helene Jennett (née Shepherd)

Passed peacefully away at Lakeside Manor with her loving family by her side on Sunday, 23 February, 2020, aged 86 years. Reunited with her beloved husband Andre, loving mother to Andre and Gisele, adored grandmother to Jan, Luke, Sam and also an adored great-grandmother and mother-in-law. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

ROBERTSHAW, Peter Andrew

Peter passed away suddenly on Friday, 21 February, 2020, at his home in California, aged 55 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Michelle, adored father of Riley and Liam, beloved son of Louise (Piasecki), and much-loved brother of Natalie and Chris. His nephew and niece Jack and Grace thought the world of him as did we all. So many hearts are broken. Much-loved in life and truly missed in death.

BELHOMME, Anthea Mary (née Foggin)

Peacefully passed away in the tender care of Jersey Hospice after a short illness on Saturday, 22 February, 2020, aged 69 years, much-loved husband of Frank, adored and cherished Mum of Clare and Louise, mother-in-law of Phil and Paul, beloved Nana to Jake. She will be greatly missed.
