WARD, Peter.

Lesley and family would like to thank everyone who sent cards, made donations, and telephoned us on the sad loss of Peter, they all meant so much. Special thanks to Dr Kumar and team, cardiac team and all in ICU/HDU for their dedication, care and support for Peter and myself in the month before he was sent to John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford. To Paul Battrick and team at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their guidance and support in these most challenging of times, and to my dear friend Rev Maureen Turner for a service filled with love and dignity.

A memorial service will be held at a date to be advised.

BATES, Phyllis (née Brownsword)

On Sunday, 29 March, 2020, Phyllis passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness. She was aged 95 years. She was born in Newcastle-Under-Lyme and lived in the Midlands for many years before moving to Jersey with her beloved husband George Lesley Donald Bates, who predeceased her. She will be forever remembered for her immense love and kindness by her son Paul (Daimary), her granddaughter Lisa, her nieces and nephews Tricia (Les), Julia (Tony), Nigel (Josie), Angie, Peter (Lesley), Dorothy, and all the other members of her large family. Very sadly, she did not meet her grandson George, who was born two days after her passing.

A private cremation will take place.

A celebration of her life will be held when restrictions permit.

Duke of Normandy Lodge No. 245.

The Brethren of the Duke of Normandy Lodge are sad to announce the passing to the Grand Lodge above, of Brother Alan, aged 90 years, a member of the Lodge for 45 years.
