You left me beautiful memories, your love is still my guide and though I cannot see you, you’re always at my side. Missing you, Lillian XXX. It’s already been a year and we still can’t believe you’re gone. Remembering you is easy, we do it every day, No longer in our life to share, but in our hearts you’re always there. RIP, Claire, Stephen, Finley and Grace X. A year has passed since we lost a Dad, a Pops, a friend and our idol. You taught us to be strong, but we never knew how strong we’d have to be. Our day will come when we meet again but, until then we hope to make you proud. Love always Kevin, Lorna and Orlaith X.

Daphne and family would like to say a sincere thank you to all who attended Cyril’s funeral service and for the many kind messages and cards of condolence which meant a lot at this difficult time and to those who made donations in his memory to Cancer Research UK Jersey. We would like to send our deepest appreciation for the wonderful care and support given to Cyril by the General Hospital staff, especially Bartlett ward who cared for him in a compassionate way during his final days. Thanks to Dr Mandy Du Feu his GP and her colleagues Dr Lizzie Guise and Dr James Keir. Rev Danny Wheadon for a beautiful service and Malcolm Whittell for playing the organ. To the management and staff of La Place Hotel for refreshments after the service. Kate of Pallot’s for the lovely floral tribute. Positive Steps carers who helped during the last months at home. Finally grateful thanks to Mark Burke of Maillard’s for his help and guidance and for the professional way in which he handled the funeral arrangements.
