Peter, Pam and family would like to thank everyone who attended Lily’s funeral, those who sent cards and messages of sympathy, and donations to Family Nursing & Home Care in remembrance of her. We thank Brian Vibert for his support and for the lovely service at St Ouen’s Parish Church. We would also like to thank Dr Meredith, her colleagues and staff at Island Medical Centre, and also Karen’s Care Agency and carers, all of whom made it possible for Lily to have her wish to end her life at home. Our thanks also to Mark Burke and colleagues at Maillard’s Funeral Directors for their care, support and professionalism at what was a difficult time for the family.

DAY, Leonard Henry (Len)

Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, 13 January, 2020, aged 84 years, surrounded by his loving family, husband of Margery and father to Nigel, Jonathan and Robert. A quiet, kind and loving man, and a true gentleman who will be deeply missed by his wife and all his family. Funeral details to follow. DAY, Leonard Henry (Len)

Dearest Dad and Papa Len, we will remember you fondly with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc in hand, and an oyster at the ready. Your smile and laugh were infectious, such a kind and generous man, always there to offer support and guidance, we could not have asked for a better father and grandfather. Thank you for so many wonderful memories treasured forever. Gone but never to be forgotten. Love you now, and always.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, 11 January, 2020, in his 92nd year, at Silver Lea Nursing Home, St Brelade.
