GAUDIN, Cyril Douglas

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 29 January, 2020, in the tender care of the General Hospital, aged 86 years. Loving and devoted husband of Daphne, adored father of David, Carole and Alison, father-in-law of Samantha and Ron, dearly loved Poppy to Aurélie, Baillie, Emerson, Rebecca, Carl, Luke, Rachael and Jared. HILL, Judy Pearl (formerly Bisson)

After a valiant battle with dementia, Judy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 28 January, 2020, in the tender care of La Haule Residential Home. Loving mother to Stephen, Zena, Sadie, Chris and Selina, mother-in-law to Lesley, Stephen, Dale, Diane and Andy. Judy will be missed by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rest in peace. Veronica, Sue and family would like to thank all those who attended Freddie’s funeral service, and for the many messages of condolence. Special thanks to the Rev Tony Morling at St Helier Methodist Centre for his words of comfort and for the wonderful service. To Dr Annabel Norman for her care and attention of our Dad in the last days of his life, and to the Staff of L’Hermitage Care Home, also to Paul and Gareth at Pitcher & Le Quesne for their care and support. I would like to say a big thank you to all who attended Billy’s funeral, both family and friends. Special thanks must go to Billy’s family for coming from England, and I would also like to say thanks to the Ambulance crew and A&E staff for all you did on that night. Special thanks for all the lovely cards and flowers, a big thanks to Hotel Ambassadeur for the lovely buffet, and finally, special thanks to Gary and Neil at De Gruchy’s Funeral Care for all the help with the arrangements, you did him proud. Lynn and family would like to thank all those who attended Beryl’s funeral service, and for all the messages, cards, letters, flowers and donations.

We would like to send our deepest appreciation for the care and support given to Mum by the General Hospital staff, especially the Haematology Department; Dr Mattock, Dr Effie, Mags and all the team, also Julie Garrod and all the staff at St Ewolds Residential Home.

Special thanks to Dr Simon Bonn for his care and kindness to Mum over the years, and finally to Shane and Mel at de Gruchy’s Funeral Care, and the Rev. James Porter for their kindness and understanding during this difficult time.
